Integrated Circuits, Political butterfly
During the Physics portion of my exhibition, we had to produce a butterfly that could flap its wings in representation of the novel that we read prior to exhibition, "In the Time of the Butterflies". We also had to incorporate our political stance onto its wings which I chose to make out of sheet plastic. The person I got most help from would have to be one of my peers, Ricky, he helped me when I got stuck on something like why my switch isn't working or why my mechanical system wouldn't work like it did the day before. I used feedback to my best advantage that I could and tried to incorporate the most helpful into my butterfly. I learned many things along the road of this project like how to properly wire a parallel circuit throughout a device that needs lights in many different places and soldering wire together. I think that what went well in this project was the amount of progress that I made with my butterfly. One thing that was a humongous struggle on this project was the fact that someone stole my battery so I spent a long time looking for it, but by the time I did, it was too late to fully complete my butterfly, sadly. If I were to change one thing in this project, it would be to spend more time on it and not lose any essential things that I need to improve my butterfly's progress.
